Gentlemen Proclaim July 4, 2016, 240 years later to the day!

 From Wayne:

Greetings Gentlemen. Thank you for those who were able to sing for the seniors earlier this month!

As has been our tradition, we will again lead the congregation in spiritual and patriotic song. This is our special gift, to sing in a place and in a way which touches so many of us most deeply. I sincerely hope you will join us as we sing and celebrate at this special liturgy for our nation's anniversary celebration of its Declaration of Independence! Allen's fine organ presentation will be joined with accompaniment from a brass section. While I am uncertain of this detail, I expect our Knights will be presenting the colors as well.

If you have been able to do this before, you know just how special this hour of devotion and praise is! Please feel free also to extend this invitation to other parish men who you think may enjoy singing and serving with us in this way.

The liturgy begins at 9:00 AM. We will gather with Allen @ 8:30 for a brief warm up and rehearsal. Our dress will be as it always is for this celebration: blue blazer, gray slacks, white shirt, red tie, black shoes.

Would you please kindly reply here indicating your intentions for singing with The Gentlemen of Saint Bridget and our congregation Monday, July 4, at the 9:00 AM liturgy?

Thank you sincerely for your consideration,

Wayne
