Gentlemen,

The S&S event is THIS Thursday evening (please see John's message below for details). For our dress, as it is a casual event with an "All American Picnic" theme, may I suggest we wear a khaki pants - polo shirt combo, incorporating some red, white, and/or blue elements. Ralph Lauren, move over!

See you Thursday evening gents, thanks!

Hello Gentlemen of St. Bridget!

Can you believe another year has gone by?  Boy time flies!

The Saints and Sinners are looking forward to their annual “Spring Into Summer” Dinner.  They would be very pleased if the Gentlemen of St. Bridget would once again grace them with their presence with the gift of their choral talents!

The dinner is on Thursday, June 11th from 5 to 8.  Cocktail hour is at 5, and dinner at 6.

The Saints and Sinners have chosen a theme that should be fun: the Great American Picnic!  Dinner will likely be grilled hamburgers and hot dogs with related sides ‘n fix’ns!  And, Apple Pie and ice cream for dessert!  Yum!

Musical selections by Allen will complement this theme and should be fun!

Will you as a Gentleman of St. Bridget join the Saints and Sinners again?  I will be supplying some Great American Beers to help the Great Gentlemen of St. Bridgets to be appropriately hydrated!   Spouses are encouraged to join in on the fun!

Please reply back to me at jkmcculla@comcast.net .

Thank you all!  I look forward to hearing back!

 Best,

 John

Support the East End Pregnancy Test and Help Center

Good afternoon!

My name is Lori-Ann Miller and I am a parishioner at Saint Bridget’s Catholic Church. I am helping to spread the word about an amazing opportunity to support the East End Pregnancy Test and Help Center located in the East End of Richmond.

The pregnancy center provides prolife counseling to women as well as material assistance such as clothing, diapers, baby gear etc. The purpose of the walk is to spread the word in the community about the services the center provides. I was wondering if you could please help us spread the word to the members of the Knights of Columbus at Saint Bridget’s? Here is a link to the center’s site for more information about it: http://www.eastendpreg.org/

The following are the Walk4life details:

The East End Pregnancy Test and Help Center would like to invite you to participate in our first Walk for Life. Join us for a non-competitive 1.5 mile walk and family-friendly picnic celebration. To be held June 27th, 9:00 am, gathering at Patrick Henry Park.

For more information or to register online, please visit www.rva4life.org or contact Mary Ann Copetillo at eepcwalk4life@gmail.com, I have also attached a flyer with further details and pray that you and members of the Knights of Columbus can join us on Saturday, June 27.

Thank you in advance for your time! We hope to see you on Saturday, June 27!

God Bless,

Lori-Ann Miller

Please post for our Men's Ministry group.

Heartfelt thanks to the members of the Men's Ministry who contributed to the Walk for Life to benefit the Pregnancy Resource Center last Saturday.  Carol and I raised $840 for that very great cause.  Thanks again.
