From John McCulla
Our Annual Parish Lenten Fish Fry is fast approaching – just a couple of weeks away on March 11th, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
I am writing to ask again for your help at the Fish Fry by volunteering for one shift during the event. This will leave ample time in the evening to enjoy a great fish dinner and the fellowship of your friends and pew-mates!
Many of you have volunteered for the “Fry” before and enjoyed it. I hope you will assist this year, too! Please ask your spouse to help, too!
For those of you that will be serving for the first time, you will have a lot of fun, you will provide service to your fellow parishioners, and you will help make the evening a grand success! And, Monsignor WANTS YOU TO HELP!
Please email John at jkmcculla@comcast.net to volunteer!
Thank you for helping in any area at the Fish Fry! I look forward to hearing back from you!
Best,
John

This opportunity has just been presented to us, so apologize for the late notification. The details are listed below. Pass this along to anyone who might be interested.
Teaching Youth and Young Adults to Pray
In the midst of a culture of noise, busyness, and constant connectedness, is it possible to foster deep, rich prayer lives in the young people we serve?

Diocese of Richmond Pastoral Center (7800 Carousel Lane; Richmond, VA 23294)

In addition to Dr. Kreeft’s presentation, the afternoon will include Mass, lunch, and opportunities for small group discussion.
About Dr. Kreeft
Dr. Peter Kreeft, internationally renowned philosopher and theologian and author of "Prayer for Beginners" as well as over 40 other titles, will present a workshop for ministry leaders from the Diocese of Richmond.
