Hello Men,
I wanted to circle the wagon and again ask for you to join us in singing at the Saints and Sinner’s Annual Dinner on June 9th.
At this point, confirmed singers are Rick W, Charlie G, John V and me.
We hope you can join in this fun event! Information is included below.
I hope you can jump in! Please pass this on to others I have missed.
Thanks, gents!
Best,
John
St. Bridget Men’s Ministry Men,
We have been again invited and have graciously accepted the honor to sing at the Annual Saints and Sinners Dinner on June 9th. This has become an annual tradition for us, too, and we must be doing something right to be invited back again and again!
The theme of the dinner this year is a Texas BBQ. The food and the venue will reflect this theme. Allen will be including some songs in our repertoire that also fit the theme.
Particulars: Thursday, June 9th in the Parish Commons
5:00 pm Arrive and hydrate or libate.
5:30 Practice with Allen.
6:00 Dinner is served and BBQ is on!
6:30 On with the performance!
7:00 Hang around and have some fellowship
Will you plan to come and sing? Dinner will be great (and only $10!). A nice selection of tasty libations will be on hand to help us get appropriately tuned up. Please RSVP to John if you plan to attend (jkmcculla@comcast.net). And, please bring your spouses! They will enjoy the dinner and will enjoy seeing your perform, as well!

I highly recommend Jesus Shock, by Peter Kreeft, which is available for free in the Commons. It's a thought provoking read, and a quick read as well.

The first program is “Jesus is Alive: Hear, Feel and Believe in the Resurrection”. This is an opportunity to meet our Deacons informally for about 20 minutes at 10:15 a.m. each Sunday to hear key points from the day’s gospel, ask questions and comment. As we all choose to come closer to Christ, we now have a time to deepen our experience with our Savior. Held in the Murphy Conference Room.
