At our last meeting, we decided to discuss Archbishop Charles Chaput's book Strangers in a Strange Land.
As we've done in the past, we'll buy the books in bulk and have them available at our meetings.

Our THIRD Saturday meeting for October will be October 21 in the Parish Center Meeting Room, beginning at 7:00 a.m. with coffee available at 6:30.

Men, Join Us for St. Bridget’s 18th Annual Octoberfest!
Want to spend a casual fall afternoon outside, craft-brewed beer in hand, pitching horseshoes, and watching football? Want to meet other men from St. Bridget’s and other parishes? Then join us for this year’s Octoberfest! Hosted by the St. Bridget’s Men’s Ministry, this men’s social event has been a great hit over the years, and one you’ll surely enjoy!
Once again, we’re shipping in those famous brats from Usinger’s of Milwaukee, and serving them up with sauerkraut, potato salad, baked beans, genuine apple strudel, and a hand-picked selection of the best beers in the world! So, “shine your stein” and join us for all the fun and fellowship we can “mustard” up!
Particulars: Sunday, November 5th, 2 p.m. ‘til dark, at the Picnic Pavilion at Community West Church (behind the Columbian Center), 2324 Pump Road. Our keynote speaker will be the dynamic author and speaker Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers. This year’s conference marks our 6th annual Men’s Conference and will feature keynote sessions, breakout sessions, Mass, an opportunity for Confession and Adoration, an expo area, boxed lunches, and much more.
