For the past year or so I have been writing and producing (at home) new songs that are intended for a more explicitly Catholic audience. The label (i.e. band, artist) name for these collection of songs is part of a bigger project named Saintsonic.

I wanted to see if you or any one of the gentlemen in the men’s group might be interested in sponsoring a gentleman in our Inquiry/OCIA group?

He is looking to be baptized at the Easter Vigil and is in need of a sponsor.

His name is Terry and he is likely in his 70s. He is incredibly intelligent and very philosophical and logical in his pursuit of the faith. He has an incredible conversion story having spent most of his life as an atheist.

If you know of someone who could serve as his sponsor and be a good match for him I would be grateful!

I think he could use some good male community as well to support him on his continued journey, so I thought you might be a good liaison to connect him to the men’s group.

2025 Oktoberfest - A Wonderful Time of Fellowship!

Hello all,

 

Just a quick note to thank all you good men for coming out Sunday for the Oktoberfest!  The weather turned out to be great, and the fellowship even better!  And the Oktoberfest meal wasn’t too bad either! 

 

Thank you to Doug and Shellie L for hosting us at their wonderful home!  The setting was conducive for grilling brats and quaffing ales!  And . . . we honored Doug this year with the special Usinger’s Red grilling apron! 

 

We are glad our pastor Fr. Ken joined us!  Our meal was blessed!
