Pregnancy Resource Center Walk for Life

Brothers and Members of the Men's Ministry,

Just a reminder that Carol and I will be walking in the Walk for Life to benefit the Pregnancy Resource Center of Metro Richmond on Saturday, April 29, at 10:00 a.m.  It is a peaceful walk, no signs or protests, about 2 miles total on beautiful Monument Avenue.  The walk begins at the Immanuel Baptist Church at the corner of Thompson and Monument.  Please join us for a stroll.  But, if you can't make it, you can support the PRC with a pledge for our walk.  No money due now, just send your name, full mailing address, and the amount you'd like to pledge to Mike at ckoz654@aol.com, and the PRC will send you a bill.  No amount is too large or too small!

After the Walk for Life, K of C Council 395 provides a hot dog lunch, or head over to the French Food Festival.  If you go to the FFF on Saturday, Carol and I will be serving beer from 1:30 until 4:30, come by and say howdy.

Thanks and Cheers!

Fraternally,

Mike K.

Help the Knights at the French Food Festival to benefit Little Sisters of the Poor

From Mike:

This is a really big undertaking for the K of C and Rick Witty, the Grand Knight of our St. Bridget Council is looking for all the help he can get. Paul Kitchen has established a sign-up genius for helping the LSOP and the perpetration for the FFF. Could you pass this along to the Men's Ministry?  Adult family members are welcome also to pitch in. Thanks!

2d Message From Cheryl Peters at St. Bridget

Thank you both for your responses. We need both your groups to take the helm and plan and host the reception. Something simple, I think a cake would be in order with some sort of Congratulations on it. Perhaps that and some simple nibbles.

Thanks again!

Cheryl

Please email Cheryl at if you can take the helm and plan the reception.

Message from Cheryl Peters at St. Bridget

Good afternoon,

As you may know, Deacon Mark Kowalski will be ordained June 3 and will have his first Mass here at Saint Bridget on June 4 at 11 am. Monsignor would like your groups to plan a simple reception for him following the 11 am Mass. We are thinking it could be in the Commons, I do not have this in the budget so we can talk about that as the planning progesses.

Please let me know if you have any questions,

Cheryl

Please email Cheryl at cpeters@saintbridgetchurch.org if you can help.

St. Bridget Fish Fry - Please Volunteer to Help at the "Fry"

Fellow Parishioner and Fish Fry Volunteer,

Our Annual Parish Lenten Fish Fry is fast approaching – just about a month away on March 24th, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

I am writing to ask again for your help at the Fish Fry by volunteering for one shift during the event.  This will leave ample time in the evening to enjoy a great fish dinner and the fellowship of your friends and pew-mates!

Many of you have volunteered for the “Fry” before and enjoyed it.  I hope you will assist this year, too!  Please ask your spouse to help, too!

For those of you that will be serving for the first time, you will have a lot of fun, you will provide service to your fellow parishioners, and you will help make the evening a grand success!  And, Monsignor WANTS YOU TO HELP! Special indulgences and dispensations to all!

Please volunteer for any area in which you are interested by emailing John at jkmcculla@comcast.net.

Thank you for helping in any area at the Fish Fry!  I look forward to hearing back from you!

Best,

John
