The 4th Annual Catholic Men’s Conference: “Lions to Lambs” is coming up. The featured keynote speakers this year are Mark Hart and Father Dan Beeman. All men 18 and over can register now through midnight on January 12, 2015 for just $45. Registration after that time will only be accepted at the door for $55. The conference is free for all priests and religious brothers. Permanent Deacons who register before midnight on January 12, 2016 will receive admission to the conference for only $30. New this year! On Friday night before the conference we are hosting an informal roundtable discussion to explore ways and best practices for establishing and sustaining solid men's ministry in the parish. This pre-conference event includes a bourbon tasting and heavy hors d'oeuvres. It will be held at the Diocesan Pastoral Center on Friday, January 15 from 6:30pm - 9:00pm. This is a great opportunity for men in leadership roles from parishes around the diocese to exchange ideas about how to build solid men's ministry in a parish. The cost is only $10 per person to help cover the food and drinks. Space is limited to 70 participants, so reserve your spot today when you register for the main event. For your convenience, there is a block of hotel rooms available near the Pastoral Center at a discounted rate to accommodate any out-of-town attendees.
