Christmas Eve w/ The Gentlemen of Saint Bridget

Email from Allen Bean:

Why am I getting this email? Some of you are receiving this because you are, or you may know a potential singer for “The Gentlemen of Saint Bridget.” Others because you’ve sung with us before.

A Brief History: The Gentlemen of Saint Bridget grew out of a Saturday morning Men’s group that meet monthly at Saint Bridget. They began singing at Mass in 2006.

Who sings? Any gentlemen with a changed voice. There are no auditions. The desire to sing is more important than experience of ability.

When do we (they) sing? 3 or 4 times a year.

When can I get started? Christmas 2019!

Tell me what I need to do:

Email Allen directly at abean@saintbridgetchurch.org please, and let me know that you received it. It’s also OK to say you aren’t interested in singing right now, but want to stay on this email list. It’s also OK, to ask to be removed from the list.

  1. Plan to come to at least one of two rehearsals in the Choir Room (located across from the nursery):

    1. Sunday, December 15 at 10:15 AM (between the 9 AM and 11 AM Mass); or

    2. Saturday December 21, right after the 8 AM Mass.

  2. Arrive in the Choir Room by 7 PM on Christmas Eve to rehearse, lead a Carol Sing at 7:30 PM, and Sing for Mass at 8 PM.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
