Hi Friends,
I am Stepping Up to the Massey Challenge and will be participating in the Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10K (virtually). We will have a walk/run in our neighborhood so Pat can be a part. We will have three different courses, a 1 mile, a 5K and a 10K. We are working with Pat’s physical therapist to see if he will be able to participate in the 1 mile walk. All the routes will start and end near our home. I’ve created a fundraising team for the Massey Challenge, and I want you to be a part of it! Since Pat is a Navy Veteran, we have named our team “Pat’s Fleet .”
This event will take place June 5th and begin at 8:30 a.m. It is not necessary for you to participate in the Ukrop’s Monument Ave 10K to join our team. Raising money to support cancer research is important to me because we want to kick cancer to the curb! Will you consider joining me in trying to raise $ 1000 for VCU Massey Cancer Center?
